28 October 2021

18-21 of October 2021 Sino-Russian Week of Arts and Culture was held in Beijing. It was organized by the Alliance of Sino-Russian Arts and Culture Universities.

Events of Sino-Russian Week of Art and Culture included a plenary conference, academic lectures and an online-exhibition of students’ art.

At the plenary conference the rector of the Saint-Petersburg State University of Film and Television, professor A.D. Evmenov made a greeting speech.

“It is culture, art and sciences that are the basis, on which mutual understanding and respect can arise. It is no coincidence that the strategy of the development of Russo-Chinese relations bears the name "One Belt and One Road". Only by familiarizing ourselves with each other, studying each other’s culture, jointly creating and doing research, we can feel how close we are, how similar our problems and issues of the present-day world are,” Alexandr Evmenov noted.

In the section of academic lectures SPUFT was represented by the Associate Professor at the Department of Management of the Economic and Social Processes in the Film and Television Industry, Candidate of Economic Sciences P.A. Bulochnikov, who gave a lecture titled "Time Management as a Factor of Personal and Career Effectiveness in the Culture Sphere".

Finally, at the online-exhibition of students’ art a short documentary by the graduate of SPUFT K.U. Tihonov was presented. It was the only video project in the section and it was dedicated to Saint-Petersburg (“The City of St. Petersburg”).
