A story of one day in a communal apartment. Myshin has no room, and he settles down on the floor in the corridor. Other residents of the apartment are enraged, Myshin disturbs them. They do all in their power to get rid of Myshin but nothing helps. The residents ask the police officer to help but he can do nothing either because it is Myshin’s lawful right to live there. Nevertheless, when the police officer arrives other residents come to the decision there is no other way for Myshin except for staying in the corridor because they are not ready to share their private room spaces.
