SPUFT hosted the conference Management of Television Industry Enterprises. Russian and Chinese Perspective

On April 26, students and teachers heard reports and discussed the issues of television development in Russia and China. The reports were presented by master's degree students of the program Management of Television Industry Enterprises.

The participants of the conference were especially interested in the Chinese media field.

SPUFT’s student Gao Zhichen was talking about the constantly expanding market of television services in China. Deng Ruihan detailed the principles of operation of the Phoenix TV channel. The channel has a clear perception of its target audience, which helps to create high quality. Deng Ruihan explained the meaning of the Three High, One Low principle – it implies to focus on audience with a High education level, High consumer potential, High social influence, but Low age group, simply put – wealthy youngsters.  

The speakers were asked a lot of questions, the answers to which gave good food for thought. Students were able to test their progress before their dissertation defense. The conference was attended by lecturers of the Department of Project Activities in the Media Industry: Olga Chesnova, Vladimir Kisedobrev, Victoria Antonova, Vladimir Skobelev, Svetlana Fatova, Viktor Lavrov, Anna Gubchenkova. They evaluated the presented reports and gave recommendations for further scientific work of students.
