St. Petersburg State University of Film and Television topped the list of creative universities in Russia

St. Petersburg State University of Film and Television topped the ranking of creative universities in Russia, which was held among 87 universities and branches including 47 universities of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation. The monitoring was carried out in 2019 and covered five main indicators: educational activity, research activity, international activity, financial activity and an additional indicator.

Monitoring on the main indicators of universities activities has been carried out in Russia since 2012. The ranking of monitoring the effectiveness of universities has been determined since 2019. Experts analyze the quality of training of applicants accepted at universities, the volume of research activities of the university, the attractiveness of the university for foreign students (the proportion of foreign students studying at the university), the professional level of the teaching staff and the financial performance of the university.

Harmonious development of the university and fulfillment of all indicators allowed the St. Petersburg State University of Film and Television to achieve the first place in the ranking.
