Online Conference ‘Organizing Teaching Process on Japanese-Russian Cooperative Programmes under COVID-19 Pandemic’

On November 20, an online conference ‘Organizing Teaching Process on Japanese-Russian Cooperative Programmes under COVID-19 Pandemic’ was organised by Hokkaido University (Japan).

The aim of the conference was to provide a platform to exchange teaching experiences on remote-learning Japanese-Russian cooperative programmes under the COVID-19 pandemic. During the pandemic, offline international programmes are impossible to organise, so the participants of the conference were welcome to discuss Japanese and Russian teaching practices and initiatives, as well as new approaches to partnership in education between Japan and Russia.

St. Petersburg State University of Film and Television was represented by Aleksey Zolotaryov, Associate Professor of the Department of Film and Television Production Business & the Deputy Head of Educational Methodical Office; Galina Tsimmerman, the Head of the Department of Foreign Languages and the Head of the International Relations Office and Anna Oskina, a Leading Specialist of the Department of International Academic Mobility and a Senior Lecturer of the Department of Foreign Languages.

The representatives of the following Japanese Universities and organisations participated at the conference: Tokai University, Kindai University, Chiba University, Tohoku University, Nagasaki University, Soka University, Tokyo University of Foreign Studies, Kanazawa University, Nanzan Univeristy, Ritsumeikan University, Specified Nonprofit Corporation Kanagawa Japan-Eurasia  Society, Chuo University, Tokyo University of Agriculture, Ochanomizu University, Aoyama Gakuin University, Kyoto University of Foreign Studies, Sapporo Medical University.
